Notice biographique (en anglais seulement)
My name is Marzieh Daneshmand. I did my BSc in Dietetics at McGill University and became a Registered Dietitian, recognized by the ODNQ, in December 2022. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Experimental Medicine at McGill, my research is an integral part of the SARABI study at McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), generously funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Focused on optimizing the assessment of postpartum hypertension in individuals with hypertensive disorders during pregnancy, this work is a crucial contribution to advancing patient-centered care in maternal health. My academic journey reflects a dedication to bridging the gap between research and practical healthcare solutions. Through my roles as a Registered Dietitian and a researcher, I aim to contribute evidence that shapes clinical practices and positively impacts long-term maternal health outcomes. The intersection of dietetics and experimental medicine allows me to explore holistic approaches to healthcare, emphasizing patient preferences and experiences.
