Zobaida Al-Baldawi is a medical student at McMaster university. Prior to medical school, she completed her undergraduate degree and master of epidemiology at the University of Ottawa. Throughout her studies, she has become increasingly interested in women's heart health. She has specifically focused on better understanding women's heart health in high-risk populations, such as women with familial hypercholesterolemia. She hopes to continue to bring awareness to women's cardiovascular health and advance research and knowledge translation for these patients.
